Waveney Green – protecting the green from further unauthorised encampments

Thank you to everyone who took part in the recent consultation about possible measures to protect Waveney Green from unauthorised encampments. 54 people sent in their views online and others came to the session on Waveney Green on 29th March. Residents gave a wide range of views, but the overwhelming majority favoured action to be taken. The parish council considered the responses and has decided to go ahead, using bollards around the green to give better protection. These will not interfere with normal use of the green.
