Charles helped establish Brickhill Parish Council and believes every community should have the opportunity to benefit from local decision making.

He has lived and worked in Brickhill since 1991 as Vicar of St Mark’s Church and Community Centre.

Wendy moved to Bedford in 1975 as a social worker and this heralded the start of a dedication to our community which has lasted for over 40 years culminating in her current roles as both a serving Parish Councillor and for the last 7 years, as an elected Borough Councillor.

Wendy has been a passionate supporter of The Girl Guide Association since 1975, ran the Brickhill Community Centre for a time and for the last 20 years, has managed St Mark’s Church Community Centre.

Wendy brings a significant level of experience to her role and has been a serving member of Brickhill Parish Council from the outset and the Urban Community Council, its predecessor, before that.

Cllr Stephen Moon currently sits on the Council’s General Purposes Committee and the Corporate Services Committee, of which he is Chair. His principal concern is the need to revive Bedford town centre.

Other areas of interest include planning and environment matters. He has been a representative of Great Barford Ward (which stretches as far as Woodlands Park in Brickhill) since May 2011.

Stephen has lived in Great Barford for over 20 years, is married with two sons. He runs an employment law consultancy and is currently studying for a post-graduate degree in Classical Civilisation. He is a member of the Motorcycle Action Group and a supporter of Fulham Football Club.

Phillippa grew up in the area. As well as looking after her young family, Phillippa runs a small consultancy part time.

Having been elected to Bedford Borough Council in May 2019 as representative for Great Barford Ward (which includes Woodlands Park as well as Ravesden and other villages), she currently sits on the Licensing Committee and is Vice Chair of the General Licensing.

Young people and the environment are particular focuses for Phillippa.
