Places of Worship
We have a number of religious sites and burial grounds in and around Brickhill which cater for all denominations.
Local Burial Grounds
As can be seen from the images below, we are privileged to have two amazing alternatives on our doorstep.
The St Albans Woodland Burial Ground is only down the road in Keysoe. A ‘not for profit’ organisation that is restoring nature to its former glory. Ancient oak woodlands are being replanted, natural fauna encouraged and wildlife rejoicing! If you are looking for peace, tranquillity and a way to give something back, then this eco-friendly, green solution is worth a look.
Foster Hill Cemetery is one of two municipal offerings in Bedford and is steeped in the history of the town. Walks around the grounds can be fascinating and informative with many headstones having their own story to tell. We have not included Norse Road as that is some way from Brickhill, but you’ll find the crematorium there together with another cemetery.
