Play Areas & Green Gyms

Following the news from Bedford Borough Council that they are opening up some of their play areas, the play area and green gym on Waveney Green and the green gym on Ashmead Road will be formally opened up as of midday on Thursday 23rd July. Signage will be going up advising children and parents on how to use the equipment safely in the light of COVID.

As you will have seen, two new pieces of equipment are currently being installed on Waveney Green and a new surface under the toddler unit. All this work should be completed by early next week. The toddler equipment is also being cleaned on the 29th July.
