Stunning countryside on our doorstep
Residents of Brickhill Parish are fortunate to have lovely countryside on their doorstep and many take advantage of it. However, there are always instances that spoil the enjoyment for many: –
Cleat Hill Route Blocked
The paths in the country park are looking great this year thanks to more frequent cutting. Unfortunately the path round the edge of the new housing development at Cleat Hill (Path 52) is currently blocked by the developers fence, about a third of the way down the hill. Bedford Borough Rights of Way team are aware of this and action to re-open it should take place soon.
Badger Set Abandoned
There used to be a Badger in Cleat Hill, but that now appears to have been abandoned.
Dog Walkers – Dog Poo
Some dog walkers continue to leave their dog poo bags on the paths or worse, hanging from trees or bushes instead of taking it home or using the bins provided. Please keep your eyes open for such behaviour and report it accordingly, ideally with a supporting image of the culprits if it is safe to do so.
