We do not propose to duplicate Government information, but we will highlight aspects that relate to us here in Brickhill. Our Facebook page is the best source to follow for the latest updates. In the meantime here are some of the main points.

Waveney Green

  • Play area and Green Gym closed
  • The green itself remains open for use as a Public Space so long as you adhere to the Governments guidelines on social distancing.

Allotments

  • At 7:45am this morning, Michael Gove specifically stated that allotments will remain open as they offer a good form of exercise.

Covid Scams

  • Numerous scams are being perpetrated by criminal elements. Please see our Facebook page for some examples. Only trust those you can verify.

Community Hub

  • 23rd March 2020
  • Borough Council online initiative allowing you to Offer Help and Request Help for food shopping, collecting medicines etc. See website here for details.

Contacting the Parish Council

We are not immune to the effects of the virus and as such our offices have been closed and we are working from home.
